THEME 1: BONDING

SPIRITUAL BONDING

The deepest of all relationships that one can have, is spiritual. What is exchanged on a spiritual level can form a bond that can be eternal.
In each and every religion, there are peoples who sacrifice their entire life to serve The Almighty. For the purpose of the storytelling, I have selected a particular temple and the devotees who lives there and has devoted their entire life in “Thy Name”…their activities, from morning till late evening.

Images taken in Guwahati.

THEME 2: FREE

STREET ART AS FREEDOM

The street art always tells the story of its time. Graffiti and street art can be controversial. But it can also be a medium for voices of social change, protest, or expressions of community desire.

Interest in these art forms as social expression is broad, and the work itself takes many shapes—from simple tags of identity, to scrawled expressions of protest and politics, to complex and beautiful scenes that virtually everyone would say are “art”, despite their sometimes rough locations.

THEME 3: HOUSEHOLD DAILY LIFE

DAILY LIFE DURING PANDEMIC

The speed of the spread of the Pandemic, the closure of higher education institutions and the transition to online teaching was so swift that it hardly gave any time to plan and to reflect on the potential risks or the potential opportunities that such a sudden change could bring.

Can’t remember the last time, I saw a school bus full of playful and mischievous children’s. Now it’s all about getting up in the morning , and preparing themselves for online school, as they are confined to their homes. Also , we saw an alarming rate of school drop outs through out the world. Hope the scenario changes soon and a new dawn is just round the corner.

IN LOVING MEMORY

“If I could write a story,

It would be the greatest ever told

Of a kind and loving person

Who had a heart of gold?

I could write a million pages

But still, be unable to say just how

Much I love and miss him

Every single day.”

About a year ago her husband took his last breath from a heart attack. A friend of mine from this family requested me to document the event, and so did I. Tears rolled over my cheeks for the person whom I even don’t know just by seeing the emotions and bondings between those whom they missed him dearly. This was the most heartbreaking event that I ever captured with my camera.
